Reverse Engineering & Product Improvisation Of A Skid Steer Loader

Reverse Engineering & Product Improvisation Of A Skid Steer Loader

Tooltech partnered with a leading construction equipment manufacturer to indigenize their skid steer loader for the Indian market.

The project involved 3D scanning of the existing equipment, reverse engineering, and significant structural modifications to optimize design and manufacturing feasibility.

Key enhancements included a redesigned chassis, cabin, and arm structure, along with improved stability and fitment. The upgraded loader now features weight reduction, better ergonomics, and provision for an AC cabin. The final output included complete 3D models, 2D manufacturing drawings, and a Bill of Materials (BOM).
